1. Introduction

The WOPET Automatic Pet Feeder is designed to simplify your pet's feeding routine, offering convenience and peace of mind. This smart feeder features Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to manage feeding schedules, monitor records, and interact with your pet remotely via the WOPET Life APP. It supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks for stable connectivity.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unboxing and Component Check

Carefully unpack all components from the box. Ensure you have the following items:

• Automatic Cat Feeder unit
• Stainless Steel Bowl
• Power Adapter and Type-C Cord
• User Manual (this document)
• Desiccant Bag

2.2 Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your WOPET Automatic Pet Feeder:

1. Separate Food Tank: Press the two buttons on both sides of the food tank and lift the food tank section from the base.
2. Install Desiccant Bag: Open the security lock on the top cover, remove the top cover, and install the desiccant bag into its designated slot. Close the cover securely.
3. Attach Food Tray and Bowl: Install the food tray onto the base unit, then place the stainless steel bowl into the food tray.
4. Install Batteries (Optional): Open the battery cover on the bottom of the base unit and install three D batteries (not included) for backup power. Close the cover.
5. Connect Power: Insert the Type-C power cord into the slot on the bottom of the base unit and connect the power adapter to a wall outlet.
6. Reattach Food Tank: Place the food tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
7. Fill with Food: Pour dry pet food into the feeder's tank and lock the top cover by twisting the knob.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 APP Installation and Connection

Download the WOPET Life APP from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can search for "WOPET Life" or scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the product packaging. It is highly recommended to connect the feeder via Bluetooth for initial setup.

3.2 Setting Up Feeding Schedules

Once connected, use the WOPET Life APP to create a customized feeding plan for your pet. You can set up to 10 meals per day with 1-12 portions (approx. 12g/0.42oz each) per meal. The app can also recommend a scientific feeding plan based on your pet's profile.

3.3 Manual Feeding and Voice Recording

You can manually dispense food portions directly from the app or by pressing the manual feed button on the device. The feeder also allows you to record up to 10 seconds of personalized voice messages to call your pet for meals, helping to alleviate anxiety when you're away.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning of your WOPET Automatic Pet Feeder is essential for your pet's health and the longevity of the device. All accessories are BPA-free and detachable for easy cleaning.

4.1 Cleaning Instructions

1. Unplug and Remove Batteries: Always unplug the feeder from the power outlet and remove any backup batteries before cleaning.
2. Disassemble: Remove the top cover, lift the food tank, and detach the food tray and stainless steel bowl.
3. Clean Components: The stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe. The food tank and rotors can be washed with water.
4. Clean Base: The base unit contains electronic components and a battery pack. DO NOT wash the base with water. Wipe the inside of the base and the food outlet with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all washed components are completely dry before reassembling.
6. Reassemble: Reassemble the feeder by following the assembly steps in reverse order.

It is recommended to clean your WOPET automatic feeder before the first use and at least once a month thereafter.

4.2 Desiccant Bag Replacement

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your WOPET Automatic Pet Feeder, refer to the common problems and solutions below:

• Feeder Not Dispensing Food:
  • Check if the food tank is empty.
  • Ensure the food outlet is not jammed. The app will send a "Trouble Alert" notification if there's an accumulation of food.
  • Verify that the feeder is powered on and connected to the app.
• Wi-Fi Connection Issues:
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is compatible (supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz).
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and the feeder.
  • Follow the app's connection guide carefully, especially for Bluetooth or AP mode pairing.
• No Notifications from App:
  • Check your phone's notification settings for the WOPET Life APP.
  • Ensure the feeder is connected to Wi-Fi.
  • The app provides real-time notifications for low food, food jams, and low battery.
• Voice Recording Not Working:
  • Ensure the lock button on the feeder is in the unlocked state before attempting to record.
  • Press and hold the record button until you hear a beep sound to start recording.
