Trigger Sensor Operation

The NEUMI Atom 4K Lite can play different videos based on input from a motion sensor or push button trigger.

Configuration Steps:

  1. Connect Sensor: Ensure the motion sensor or push button is connected to the "SENSOR" input.
  2. Prepare Media:
    • For continuous looping, name your main video file loop.mp4 (or other supported format) and place it in the root directory of your USB drive or SD card.
    • For triggered playback, name your trigger video files sequentially, e.g., trigger01.mp4, trigger02.mp4, etc., and place them in the root directory.
  3. Set Trigger Mode: In the player's settings, configure the sensor input to "trigger play" mode.

When configured, the player will continuously loop loop.mp4. Upon activation of the connected sensor (motion detected or button pressed), it will play trigger01.mp4 (or the next sequential trigger video) and then return to looping loop.mp4.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your NEUMI Atom 4K Lite, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

No power/Device does not turn on:

Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the device and a working power outlet. Verify the power outlet is active. Try a different power outlet.

No video output:

Check the HDMI or AV cable connection between the player and your TV/monitor. Ensure the TV input source is set correctly (e.g., HDMI 1, AV). Try a different HDMI port or cable. Restart both the player and the TV.

No audio output:

Verify the volume on the player and your TV/audio system is not muted or set too low. Check audio settings on the player. If using AV, ensure the audio cables are correctly connected to the appropriate input on your audio system or TV.

Media files not playing:

Ensure the media files are in a supported format (refer to "Media Format Support" section). Check if the USB drive or SD card is properly inserted and formatted with a supported file system (FAT32, exFAT, NTFS). Try a different USB drive or SD card. Ensure the files are not corrupted.

Trigger sensor not working:

Ensure the sensor is securely connected to the "SENSOR" input. Verify that the trigger mode is correctly configured in the player's settings. Check the file naming convention for loop.mp4 and triggerXX.mp4 files in the root directory of your media storage. Ensure the sensor is not obstructed.
