Welcome to the JioFi M2S 4G Wireless Router user manual. This guide provides detailed instructions on how to set up, operate, and maintain your JioFi device. The JioFi M2S is a portable 4G hotspot designed to provide high-speed internet access on the go, allowing multiple devices to connect simultaneously.

Product Overview
The JioFi M2S is a compact and portable 4G wireless router. It allows you to create a personal Wi-Fi hotspot, enabling multiple devices to connect to the internet using a Jio 4G SIM card. Key features include:

Setup Instructions
- Insert SIM Card:
Open the back cover of the JioFi device. Carefully insert your active Jio 4G SIM card into the designated SIM card slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned.
- Insert Battery:
Place the battery into its compartment, ensuring the contacts align with those on the device. Close the back cover securely.
- Charge the Device:
Connect the JioFi device to the USB adapter using the provided USB cable. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The device will begin charging. It is recommended to fully charge the device before first use.

Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off:
Press and hold the power button (located on the front of the device) for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn on/off.
- Connect to Wi-Fi:
Once the JioFi device is powered on, it will broadcast a Wi-Fi network. On your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, go to Wi-Fi settings and select the JioFi network name (SSID). The default SSID and password are usually printed on a sticker inside the battery compartment or on the device itself.
- Enter Password:
Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted. Your device should now be connected to the internet.
- Manage Devices:
The JioFi M2S can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smart TVs.
- HD Voice Calls (JioCall App):
To make HD voice calls using your 2G/3G smartphone, download and install the JioCall application from your device's app store. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the JioFi Wi-Fi network.

Maintenance
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and do not overcharge the device. Fully charge the battery before long periods of inactivity.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates through the JioFi device management portal (usually accessible via a web browser when connected to the JioFi network) to ensure optimal performance and security.

Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Ensure your Jio 4G SIM card is active and has a valid data plan.
- Check if the JioFi device has sufficient battery charge.
- Restart the JioFi device and your connected device.
- Verify that the SIM card is inserted correctly.
- Check the signal strength indicator on the JioFi device. If low, try moving to an area with better network coverage.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure the JioFi device is powered on and broadcasting its Wi-Fi network.
- Double-check the Wi-Fi password.
- Try forgetting the network on your device and reconnecting.
- Slow Internet Speed:
- Reduce the number of connected devices.
- Move closer to the JioFi device for better signal strength.
- Check for network congestion in your area.
