Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your breast pump before first use:
- Clean and Sterilize: Before initial use, disassemble and clean all parts that come into contact with breast milk (pump bodies, flanges, duckbill valves, milk bottles, nipples) using warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and sterilize according to manufacturer guidelines (e.g., boiling, steam sterilizer). The motor unit and air tubes should not be washed.
- Assemble Pump Body: Insert the duckbill valve into the bottom of the pump body. Place the diaphragm onto the pump body, ensuring a secure seal. Attach the upper cover.
- Attach Flange: Connect the 24mm flange to the pump body. If needed, insert the 21mm flange insert into the 24mm flange for a comfortable fit.
- Connect Milk Bottle: Screw the milk bottle onto the bottom of the assembled pump body.
- Connect Air Tube: Attach one end of the air tube to the connector on the upper cover of the pump body. Connect the other end of the air tube to one of the ports on the motor unit. For double pumping, repeat this for the second pump body and the other motor port.
- Charge Motor Unit: Ensure the motor unit is fully charged before its first use. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the motor unit and a suitable power source (e.g., adapter, power bank, computer). The LED display will indicate charging status.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for hygiene and optimal pump performance.
- After Each Use: Disassemble all parts that come into contact with breast milk (flanges, pump bodies, duckbill valves, milk bottles, nipples). Wash them immediately in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Sterilization: Sterilize these parts regularly by boiling for 5 minutes, using a steam sterilizer, or a dishwasher (top rack only, if dishwasher safe).
- Motor Unit and Air Tubes: The motor unit and air tubes should never be washed or sterilized. Wipe the motor unit with a clean, damp cloth. If milk enters the air tubes, replace them to prevent contamination.
- Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely on a clean surface or drying rack before reassembling or storing.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your NCVI Double Electric Breast Pump, please consider the following:
- No Suction or Weak Suction: Check that all pump parts are correctly assembled and securely connected. Ensure the air tubes are firmly attached to both the pump bodies and the motor unit. Verify that the duckbill valves and diaphragms are not damaged or worn.
- Motor Not Turning On: Ensure the motor unit is fully charged. Connect it to the charging cable and allow sufficient time to charge.
- Milk Backflow into Tubing: This indicates a potential issue with the diaphragm or duckbill valve. Disassemble, clean, and inspect these parts. Replace if damaged.
