5.2 Step-by-Step Installation
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry.
- Disassemble Fixture: Remove the screws securing the mounting plate from the fixture body.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box on your wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring. Connect the black wire (live) to the black wire, the white wire (neutral) to the white wire, and the green/bare copper wire (ground) to the ground wire. Use appropriate wire connectors and ensure all connections are secure.
- Secure Fixture: Carefully align the fixture body with the mounting plate and secure it with the screws removed in step 2. Ensure no wires are pinched.
