- Storage: When the camera is not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not powering on.
- Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the proper polarity and are fully charged or new. Verify the mode switch is set to "TEST" or "ON".
- No photos or videos captured.
- Check if the Micro SD card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space. Confirm the camera is in "ON" mode. Adjust PIR sensitivity settings and ensure the detection area is clear of obstructions that might block motion detection.
- Blurry images or videos.
- Clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the camera is securely mounted and stable to prevent movement during capture.
- Poor night vision performance.
- Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the infrared LEDs. Check battery levels, as low power can reduce the effectiveness of the IR flash.
- Camera fogs up in wet conditions.
- While the camera has an IP66 waterproof rating, rapid temperature changes can cause internal condensation. If possible, place the camera in a location with good airflow and some protection from direct, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme humidity. If fogging occurs, bring the camera indoors to dry out.
