The SCYAN X4 Smart Door Lock provides multiple access methods for enhanced security and convenience. This manual details the installation, operation, and maintenance of your smart lock.

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation and initial setup of your SCYAN X4 Smart Door Lock. A Phillips screwdriver is the only tool required.
Door Preparation and Lock Assembly
- Ensure your door meets the specifications: adjustable backset 2 ⅜” or 2 ¾”, door thickness between 1 ⅜” and 2”.
- Install the latch into the door edge.
- Insert the spindle and wiring through the door hole.
- Attach the exterior assembly, ensuring the spindle aligns correctly.
- Connect the wiring from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly.
- Secure the interior assembly to the door using the provided screws.
- Install the handle and ensure the cylindrical protrusions are horizontally aligned for proper key insertion.
- Insert the key cylinder into the handle.

App Pairing and Code/Card Setup
- Download the TTLock App from your device's app store.
- Open the app and select "Add Lock" then "Door Lock".
- Touch any key on the lock's keypad to activate it and put it in pairing mode. The lock will announce "Please add a Bluetooth administrator".
- In the app, select the discovered lock (e.g., "M302_91538e") and assign a name.
- To add a passcode: Navigate to "Passcodes" in the app, then "Generate Passcode". Choose between Permanent, Timed, One-time, or Customized. Enter a name and the desired passcode (4-9 digits).
- To add a key fob (card): Navigate to "Cards" in the app, then "Add Card". Select "Permanent", "Timed", or "Recurring". Enter a name. When prompted, place the key fob against the card reader sensor on the smart lock.

Operating the Lock
Unlocking Methods
- Passcode: Touch the keypad to activate, enter your 4-9 digit passcode, and press '#'.
- Key Fob: Place the registered key fob against the card reader sensor on the lock.
- Smartphone App: Open the TTLock App, select your lock, and tap the unlock icon.
- Physical Key: Use the provided physical key as an override. This is a "Schlage C key" type.
Auto-Locking Feature
The lock supports an auto-lock function. You can enable this feature and set a delay time via the app. The lock will automatically secure itself after the set delay.
Privacy Mode
The lock features a privacy mode. When enabled, the lock cannot be unlocked by code or key fob from the outside, providing enhanced security. To enable/disable, use the privacy switch on the interior side of the lock.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included). The app will display the battery level. To replace batteries, remove the battery cover on the interior assembly, insert new batteries, and replace the cover.
External Power Source
In case of complete battery depletion, a power bank can be connected via the micro USB port on the exterior assembly as an additional power source to temporarily power the lock for entry.
Cleaning
Clean the touchscreen and lock body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish or electronic components.
Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery level. If batteries are low, replace them or use an external power bank via the micro USB port.
- Passcode not working: Ensure the correct passcode is entered, followed by '#'. Verify the passcode is active and not expired in the app.
- Key fob not working: Ensure the key fob is properly registered in the app and is placed correctly against the sensor.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and you are within range of the lock. If using a gateway for remote access, ensure the gateway is properly connected to Wi-Fi.
- Memory Function: User codes are retained even if power runs out.
