Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your IWEGGO CP20 tablet, refer to the following common solutions:
Tablet is Slow or Unresponsive
- Restart the Tablet: A simple restart can resolve many temporary performance issues. Press and hold the Power button, then tap Restart.
- Close Background Apps: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold to open the recent apps view. Swipe up on apps to close them.
- Clear Cache: Go to Settings > Storage > Cached data and tap to clear.
- Check Storage: Ensure you have sufficient free storage space. If storage is nearly full, performance can degrade. Uninstall unused apps or move files to a microSD card.
- Software Update: Ensure your tablet's software is up to date.
Battery Drains Quickly or Charges Slowly
- Check Charging Cable and Adapter: Ensure you are using the original USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter. Damaged cables or low-power adapters can cause slow charging.
- Avoid Using While Charging: Using the tablet intensively while charging can slow down the charging process or even cause the battery level to decrease.
- Reduce Screen Brightness: High screen brightness is a major battery consumer. Adjust it in Quick Settings or Settings > Display.
- Disable Unused Features: Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or GPS when not in use.
- Identify Battery-Draining Apps: Check Settings > Battery > Battery usage to identify and manage apps consuming excessive power.
Keyboard or Mouse Not Connecting
- Ensure Devices are Charged: Check if the keyboard and mouse have sufficient battery.
- Re-enable Bluetooth: Toggle Bluetooth off and on again on your tablet (Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Bluetooth).
- Re-pair Devices: Forget the device in Bluetooth settings and attempt to pair it again.
- Check Device Pairing Mode: Ensure the keyboard/mouse is in pairing mode (refer to their individual manuals if available).
Factory Reset
As a last resort for persistent issues, you may perform a factory reset. Warning: This will erase all data on your tablet. Back up important files before proceeding.
- Go to Settings > System > Reset options.
- Tap Erase all data (factory reset).
- Confirm your decision and follow the on-screen prompts.
