1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your NiPoGi P2 Mini PC. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper and safe operation. Keep this manual for future reference.

The NiPoGi P2 Mini PC is a compact and powerful computing solution designed for various tasks, from office work and studying to multimedia consumption. It features an AMD Ryzen 4300U processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD, offering efficient performance and ample storage. Its small form factor, quiet operation, and versatile connectivity options make it suitable for diverse environments.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Connecting Peripherals

Before powering on your Mini PC, connect all necessary peripherals.

  1. Connect Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your monitor or TV to the HDMI port on the Mini PC. Alternatively, use a DisplayPort cable or a USB-C to DisplayPort/HDMI cable for multi-monitor setups. The device supports up to three 4K@60Hz displays simultaneously via HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, and USB3.2 Gen1 Type-C.
  2. Connect Keyboard and Mouse: Plug your USB keyboard and mouse into any of the available USB 3.2 ports. Wireless peripherals can be connected via Bluetooth 4.2.
  3. Connect Network: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 LAN port. For wireless, the device supports Wi-Fi 5 (dual-band 5GHz).
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC IN port on the Mini PC, then connect it to a power outlet.

3.2 Initial Boot and Windows Setup

After connecting all peripherals, press the power button to turn on the Mini PC. The system will guide you through the initial Windows 11 Pro setup process.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, region, and keyboard layout.
  • During network setup, if using a wired connection, ensure the Ethernet cable is connected. If using Wi-Fi, select your network and enter the password.
  • Complete the Windows 11 Pro setup by creating a user account or logging in with a Microsoft account.

Note on Keyboard Layout during Setup:

Some users have reported issues with the '@' symbol during initial setup when using a Japanese keyboard layout. If this occurs, temporarily switch to an English (US) keyboard layout during setup (Shift + 2 for '@') and change it back to Japanese after Windows is fully configured.

4. Operating Your Mini PC

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press the power button located on the front panel.
  • Power Off: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown (use only when necessary).

4.2 Multi-Display Setup

The NiPoGi P2 supports connecting up to three displays simultaneously for enhanced productivity or immersive experiences.

  • Connect your primary monitor via HDMI.
  • Connect a second monitor via DisplayPort.
  • Connect a third monitor via the full-function USB-C port (requires a compatible USB-C to DisplayPort/HDMI adapter or monitor).
  • Once connected, right-click on the desktop, select "Display settings," and configure your displays (extend, duplicate, or show only on one).

4.3 Storage Expansion

The Mini PC comes with a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD. You can expand the storage up to 4TB by replacing the existing SSD or adding another compatible M.2 SSD if an additional slot is available (check specifications for details).

4.4 Wireless Connectivity

  • Wi-Fi: The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) for high-speed internet access. To connect, click the network icon in the taskbar, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.
  • Bluetooth: Bluetooth 4.2 allows you to connect wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, headphones, and speakers. To pair a device, go to Windows Settings > Bluetooth & devices, turn on Bluetooth, and select "Add device."

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the exterior of the Mini PC with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols. Ensure the ventilation openings are free from dust and debris to maintain optimal cooling performance.

5.2 Cooling System

The NiPoGi P2 Mini PC features an efficient cooling fan to dissipate heat and ensure stable performance. The fan operates quietly, typically below 38dB during normal use. Avoid blocking the ventilation holes on the sides and top of the device.

5.3 Software Updates

Keep your Windows 11 Pro operating system updated to ensure optimal performance and security. Go to Windows Settings > Windows Update to check for and install available updates.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Power

  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.

6.2 No Display Output

  • Check that the HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
  • Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
  • Try a different cable or monitor if possible.

6.3 Audio Issues

  • Ensure speakers or headphones are properly connected to the 3.5mm audio jack or paired via Bluetooth.
  • Check Windows sound settings to ensure the correct output device is selected and volume is not muted.
  • If using the 3.5mm audio jack and experiencing no response, try restarting the Mini PC.

6.4 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Connectivity Problems

  • Ensure Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is enabled in Windows Settings.
  • Restart your router/modem for Wi-Fi issues.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure the device is in pairing mode and within range.

6.5 Slow Performance

  • Close unnecessary applications running in the background.
  • Ensure the Mini PC has adequate ventilation and is not overheating.
  • Check for and install any pending Windows updates.
