It features two fabric drawers, two open shelves, and a 27.6-inch height to align with most bed frames. This manual provides essential information for safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new nightstand.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this nightstand. It is recommended that one person assembles the unit, though two people may make the process easier. Please refer to the included Assembly Guide for detailed diagrams.

Assembly Steps:

1. Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the vertical and horizontal metal bars using the provided screws and the Allen key. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten until the entire frame is assembled.
2. Attach Shelves: Secure the wooden shelves to the designated positions on the metal frame using the appropriate screws. The top shelf will house the charging station.
3. Install Charging Station: Carefully place the charging station unit into the pre-drilled slot on the underside of the top wooden panel. Secure it with the provided screws.
4. Attach Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom of the metal frame. Adjust them as needed to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.
5. Prepare Fabric Drawers: Unfold the fabric drawers and insert the rigid bottom panel to give them shape. Attach the handles to the front of each drawer.
6. Insert Drawers: Slide the assembled fabric drawers into their respective slots within the metal frame.
7. Wall Anchoring (Optional but Recommended): For added stability and safety, especially in homes with children or pets, use the provided wall anchors to secure the nightstand to a wall.

Operating Instructions

LED Lights

The nightstand features built-in LED ambient lighting. To operate the lights:

• Turn On/Off: Press the touch button located on the charging station unit once to turn the lights on or off.
• Change Color: With the lights on, tap the touch button repeatedly to cycle through 11 different color variations.
• Adjust Brightness: Press and hold the touch button to adjust the brightness (10%-100%) of the selected color. Release when the desired brightness is reached. The lights have a memory function, retaining the last setting.

Charging Station

The integrated charging station provides convenient power access:

• AC Outlet: Plug in devices requiring a standard electrical outlet, such as lamps or laptops.
• USB Ports: Use the two USB ports to charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.

Storage

Utilize the various storage options to keep your bedside area organized:

• Top Shelf: Ideal for items you need to access frequently, such as your phone, alarm clock, or a glass of water.
• Open Shelf: Provides additional space for books, decorative items, or small electronics.
• Fabric Drawers (x2): These spacious drawers are suitable for storing personal items, clothing, or other essentials, helping to keep your space clutter-free.

Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your AODK Nightstand:

• Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
• Drawer Care: The fabric drawers can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Allow to air dry completely.
• Electrical Components: Ensure the charging station is unplugged before cleaning. Do not expose electrical components to water.

Troubleshooting

LED Lights Not Working

• Check Power Connection: Ensure the nightstand's power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet.
• Verify Charging Station Connection: Confirm that the LED light cable is properly connected to the charging station unit.
• Reset: Unplug the nightstand from the wall for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and try operating the lights again.

Charging Station Not Providing Power

• Check Power Connection: Ensure the nightstand's power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet.
• Test with Different Devices: Try charging a different device or using a different cable to rule out issues with your device or cable.
• Overload Protection: If too many high-power devices are connected, the charging station may temporarily shut off. Unplug some devices and try again.
