Installation Steps
- Turn Off Water Supply: Locate the hot and cold water supply valves under your sink and turn them off completely. Open the existing faucet to drain any remaining water.
- Remove Old Faucet (if applicable): Disconnect the old faucet's supply lines and mounting nuts. Carefully lift and remove the old faucet. Clean the sink surface thoroughly.
- Install Faucet Body:
- Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the new faucet or to the underside of the deck plate.
- Insert the faucet body through the center hole(s) of the sink. If using the deck plate for a 1 or 3-hole sink, ensure it is properly aligned.
- From underneath the sink, secure the faucet body with the provided mounting hardware (washer and nut). Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
- Install Side Sprayer:
- Insert the side sprayer base into the designated hole on the sink or countertop.
- Secure it from underneath with the provided mounting nut.
- Connect the sprayer hose to the designated port on the faucet body.

- Attach the 1/2 inch IPS brass nut end of the supply lines to the hot and cold water inlets on the faucet body. Hand-tighten, then use an adjustable wrench for a final quarter-turn.
- Connect the 3/8 inch female compression end of the supply lines to your hot and cold water supply valves. Ensure a tight seal to prevent leakage.
- Check for Leaks: Slowly turn on the hot and cold water supply valves. Inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. Tighten connections as necessary.
- Flush Faucet: Remove the aerator from the faucet spout. Turn on the faucet to full hot and cold for a few minutes to flush out any debris from the lines. Turn off the faucet, reattach the aerator, and test the flow.
Operating Instructions
Faucet Operation
The Aqua Vista faucet features a single lever handle for convenient control of water flow and temperature. Moving the handle up increases water flow, and moving it down decreases flow until it is off.

Figure 5: Close-up view of the Aqua Vista Faucet and Side Spray. This image details the single lever handle for water control and the design of the side spray nozzle.
Temperature Control
To adjust water temperature, move the single lever handle left for hot water and right for cold water. The handle's position between these extremes will provide a mixed temperature.
Side Sprayer Use
To use the side sprayer, simply lift it from its holder. Water will divert from the main spout to the sprayer when the sprayer's trigger or button is pressed (if applicable) or when the main faucet is turned on and the sprayer is activated. The sprayer is ideal for rinsing dishes, cleaning the sink basin, or filling pots.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Faucet
To maintain the polished chrome finish, clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
Aerator Maintenance
If water flow from the main spout becomes restricted, the aerator may be clogged with mineral deposits or debris. Unscrew the aerator from the end of the spout, clean it under running water, and use a small brush if necessary. Reattach the aerator securely.
Supply Line Inspection
Periodically inspect the Highcraft supply lines for any signs of wear, kinks, or leaks. While designed to be burst-proof, regular checks ensure continued optimal performance and prevent potential water damage.
