5. Water Resistance

This watch is designed with a specific water resistance rating. Refer to the 'Specifications' section for details. It is important to note that water resistance is not a permanent condition and may eventually deteriorate. Do not operate buttons underwater. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the seals.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Watch

Regular cleaning helps maintain the appearance and longevity of your watch.

  • Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For silicone straps, mild soap and water can be used, then rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish or seals.

2. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the watch stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained. Attempting to replace the battery yourself may void the warranty and compromise the watch's water resistance.

3. Storage

When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. Keeping it in its original packaging or a watch box can protect it from dust and scratches.

Troubleshooting

1. Digital Display is Blank or Dim

  • Possible Cause: Low battery.
  • Solution: Replace the battery. Refer to the 'Battery Replacement' section.

2. Analog Hands Not Moving

  • Possible Cause: Crown is pulled out, or low battery for analog movement.
  • Solution: Ensure the crown is pushed fully in. If the issue persists, the analog battery may need replacement.

3. Buttons Not Responding

  • Possible Cause: Watch is in a frozen state or battery is critically low.
  • Solution: Try a soft reset by holding all four buttons simultaneously for a few seconds (if applicable to your model). If this does not work, battery replacement may be necessary.

4. Water Inside the Watch

  • Possible Cause: Water resistance compromised due to impact, aging seals, or operating buttons underwater.
  • Solution: Immediately take the watch to a professional watch repair service to prevent further damage. Do not attempt to dry it yourself with heat.
