3. Setup Guide

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.
4. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a grounded 115 Volt electrical outlet. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before first use to allow refrigerants to settle.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the "MAX" fill line.
2. Insert Ice Basket: Place the ice basket securely inside the machine.
3. Start Ice Production: Press the "ICE / CLEAN" button once to begin the ice-making cycle. The white light will illuminate, indicating the machine is making ice.
4. Monitor Status: The indicator lights on the front panel provide real-time status updates:
   • White light on: Machine is making ice.
   • Green light on: Ice basket is full. Production will stop automatically.
   • Red light on: Water level is low. Add more water to resume operation.
   • Blue light on: Machine is running a self-cleaning cycle.
5. Collect Ice: Once the ice basket is full (green light), use the provided ice scoop to remove the nugget ice. The machine will automatically resume ice production if water is available and the ice basket is not full.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Silonn Nugget Ice Maker.

Automatic Self-Cleaning:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
2. Press and hold the "ICE / CLEAN" button for 3 seconds until the blue light illuminates. This indicates the self-cleaning cycle has started.
3. The machine will run a cleaning cycle, circulating water through its internal components.
4. Once the cycle is complete, drain any remaining water from the reservoir.

Manual Descaling and Deep Cleaning:

For thorough cleaning or in areas with hard water, manual descaling is recommended. The detachable top provides easy access.

• Unplug the unit and drain all water.
• Remove the ice basket and detachable top.
• Prepare a descaling solution (e.g., a mixture of water and white vinegar or a commercial descaling agent).
• Carefully wipe down all accessible internal surfaces, including the water reservoir and ice-making components.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.
• Dry all parts before reassembling.
