Connecting Test Leads
Properly connect the test leads to the multimeter for accurate and safe measurements. Insert the red test lead into the 'INPUT' (positive) jack and the black test lead into the 'COM' (common/negative) jack. Ensure a secure connection. The KET01 test leads feature silicone insulation for flexibility and durability, and a special plug design for reliable contact.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button located on the top left of the multimeter to turn it on or off.
Smart Mode Operation
The KM602 defaults to Smart Mode upon power-on. In this mode, the multimeter automatically detects and measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, and continuity. It intelligently selects the appropriate measurement range, eliminating the need for manual range selection for these common tests.

Manual Mode and Function Selection
To access specific measurement functions beyond Smart Mode (e.g., AC/DC current, capacitance, frequency, diode, duty cycle, temperature, NCV, live wire), press the 'FUNC' button. Each press cycles through available functions. The 'SEL' button can be used to select between AC/DC for certain measurements or other sub-functions.
Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection
The NCV function allows for safe detection of AC voltage without direct contact. Select the NCV function using the 'FUNC' button and bring the top of the multimeter near the conductor. The device will indicate the presence of voltage through audible beeps and visual alerts on the display.
Display Readability
The KM602 features a vibrant Color HD Screen, designed to enhance the reading experience. This display provides clear and bright readings, making it easy to view measurements even in challenging lighting conditions, including bright sunlight or dark environments.

Test Lead Durability
The KET01 test leads are constructed with high-quality silicone insulated wires, offering exceptional resilience and flexibility. They are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, being heat resistant up to 392°F (200°C) and cold resistant down to -76°F (-60°C). The special plug design ensures perfect contact and prevents loosening during use, while the silicone material allows them to withstand significant pulling force (900N Rally).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the multimeter and test leads. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device and accessories in the provided carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To maintain battery health, charge the multimeter regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
- Fuse Replacement: If a fuse blows due to overload, replace it with a fuse of the correct type and rating as specified in the technical specifications. Refer to the device's internal markings for fuse access.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Multimeter does not power on. | Low or depleted battery. | Charge the multimeter using the provided USB cable. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Incorrect function selected; poor test lead connection; damaged test leads. | Ensure correct function is selected (Smart Mode or Manual); check test lead connections; inspect leads for damage and replace if necessary. |
| Display shows 'OL' (Overload). | Measurement exceeds the selected range or device capability. | In Smart Mode, the device should auto-range. In Manual Mode, select a higher range or ensure the measurement is within the device's specifications. |
| No NCV detection. | NCV function not selected; no AC voltage present. | Ensure NCV function is active; verify AC voltage presence with another method if possible. |
