Setup

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the rear-facing charging jack and a compatible USB power source (DC5V 400mA). The power display on the LCD will indicate charging status.
  2. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device. The LCD will illuminate.
  3. Zeroing: For relative measurements, place the device on a flat, stable surface that will serve as your reference. Press the ZERO button to set the current angle to 0.00°. This establishes a new reference point for subsequent measurements.

Operating Instructions

Button Functions:

  • ON/OFF Button:
    • Short press to turn the device ON or OFF.
    • Press once to activate the right-side red laser line.
    • Press twice to activate the left-side red laser line.
    • Press a third time to activate both red laser lines.
    • Press again to turn off the laser lines.
  • TILT%/HOLD Button:
    • Short press to hold the current measurement value on the display. Press again to release.
    • Long press to switch between angle (°) and slope (%) readout.
  • ZERO Button:
    • Short press to zero out the measured value, enabling relative measurement from any surface.

Measurement Modes:

  • Absolute Measurement: When the device is powered on and not zeroed on a specific surface, it measures the absolute angle relative to a true horizontal plane.
  • Relative Measurement: After pressing the ZERO button on a reference surface, all subsequent measurements will be relative to that zeroed surface.

Using the Laser Lines:

The built-in laser lines assist in alignment and projection. Activate them using the ON/OFF button as described above. The laser lines are useful for extending a reference line across a surface or for checking alignment over a distance.
