4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Taking a Measurement

  1. Sit in a relaxed position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Place the cuff on your upper arm, about one inch above the bend of your elbow. Ensure the air tube runs down the center of your arm. The cuff should be snug but not too tight (you should be able to fit 1-2 fingers between your arm and the cuff).
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate and deflate, displaying your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings.

4.2 Setting Date and Time

To ensure accurate historical data, set the correct date and time on your monitor. Refer to the video below for detailed steps.

5. Accurate Measurement Tips

To ensure the most accurate blood pressure readings, consider the following:

  • Proper Body Position: Sit upright with your back supported, feet flat on the floor, and your arm resting on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.
  • Correct Cuff Size: Use a cuff that fits your arm circumference correctly. An ill-fitting cuff can lead to inaccurate readings.
  • Consistent Timing: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.
  • Bare Arm: Place the cuff on a bare arm, not over clothing.
