2. Safety Information

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and eye protection, when handling chemicals.
  • Do not spray flammable liquids or corrosive substances.
  • Keep the sprayer out of reach of children and pets.
  • Ensure proper ventilation when spraying indoors or in enclosed spaces.
  • Always flush the sprayer with clean water after each use, especially when using chemicals.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present:

  • 1 x DEWIN Pressure Sprayer Unit (with integrated pump and dual nozzle)
  • Replacement Washers (may be included for maintenance)

4. Setup

  1. Prepare the Bottle: Select a clean plastic bottle with a G3/4 female thread and a capacity of 1.25 liters or more. Fill the bottle with the desired liquid (water, fertilizer, pesticide, etc.). Do not overfill.
  2. Attach the Sprayer: Carefully screw the sprayer unit onto the bottle. Ensure the fixing nut is tightened securely to create a good airtight seal. This seal is crucial for building and maintaining air pressure.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Build Pressure: Hold the sprayer with one hand and use the other hand to operate the pump handle. Pump the handle repeatedly to build air pressure inside the bottle. The sprayer is designed to spray on both the push and pull strokes of the pump.
  2. Select Spray Mode: The sprayer features a double nozzle design that can be rotated and adjusted.
    • For a water column (stream), rotate the nozzles to a more focused position. This mode is suitable for targeted spraying.
    • For a mist (fogging), rotate the nozzles to a wider, more dispersed position. This mode is ideal for broad coverage or delicate plants.
  3. Begin Spraying: Once sufficient pressure is built and the desired spray mode is set, direct the nozzle towards the target area and continue pumping to maintain pressure and spray.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially when spraying chemicals, empty any remaining liquid and flush the sprayer thoroughly with clean water. Pump clean water through the nozzle to prevent clogging.
  • Check Seals: Periodically inspect the fixing nut and any internal washers for wear or damage. Replace worn washers to maintain an airtight seal and prevent leaks.
  • Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is clean and dry before storage.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Leaking around the bottle connection:
Ensure the bottle is securely screwed onto the sprayer and the fixing nut is tight. Check the washer inside the connector for proper seating or damage. Replace if necessary.
  • No spray or weak spray:
Verify that sufficient air pressure has been built by pumping the handle multiple times. Check the nozzle for clogs; clean by rotating or gently disassembling if possible. Ensure the bottle contains enough liquid.
  • Difficulty attaching to a bottle:
Confirm that the bottle has a G3/4 female thread and a capacity of 1.25L or more. Some bottles may have slightly different thread patterns; ensure a compatible fit.
  • Pump mechanism feels stiff or bent:
Inspect the pump rod for any physical damage or bending. If bent, the pumping action may be compromised.
