4. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the product.

  • Always disconnect power before installation, maintenance, or cleaning.
  • Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or in accordance with local electrical codes.
  • Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the fixture.
  • Do not look directly into the LED light source when illuminated, as it may cause eye strain or damage.
  • Keep the product away from flammable materials.
  • Do not attempt to modify or repair the product yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent electric shock.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Verify that all package contents are present.
  • Ensure the power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before starting installation.
  • Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, drill, wire strippers, electrical tape, ladder (if needed).

5.2. Mounting the Light Fixture

  1. Choose a suitable mounting location on a wall, eave, or pole that provides the desired illumination area and allows for optimal motion detection.
  2. Mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket.
  3. Drill holes at the marked positions and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  4. Secure the mounting bracket to the surface using the provided screws.
  5. Attach the light fixture to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle as desired. The PIR sensor angle can be manually adjusted 180° horizontally and 90° vertically.

5.3. Electrical Connection

The security light comes with a 5.9-foot (approximately 1.8m) power cable.

  • Connect the wires from the light fixture to your main power supply:
    • Blue wire: Neutral (N)
    • Brown wire: Live (L)
    • Yellow/Green wire: Earth/Ground (E)
  • Ensure all connections are tight and insulated with electrical tape or appropriate connectors.
  • Once connections are complete, restore power at the circuit breaker.

  • ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
  • Brightness Adjustment (+/-): Increases or decreases the light intensity.
  • 1H/3H: Sets the continuous illumination mode for 1 hour or 3 hours. After the set time, the light automatically switches to PIR motion detection mode.
  • PIR: Activates the motion detection mode.
  • TIME (10s/1min/5min): Sets the duration the light stays on after motion is detected (10 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes).
  • DAY/LUX/NIGHT: Sets the ambient light threshold for motion detection.
    • DAY: Motion detection functions throughout the day, regardless of ambient light.
    • LUX: (Not explicitly defined, but typically auto-adjusts based on ambient light).
    • NIGHT: Motion detection functions only when ambient light is low (at night).
  • SENS (50%/100%): Adjusts the sensitivity of the PIR motion sensor (50% for lower sensitivity, 100% for higher sensitivity).

Image: This image illustrates the remote control options for setting the PIR detection duration (10 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes) and selecting between Day and Night modes for the motion sensor.

6.2. Operating Modes

  • Constant Light Mode: Press "ON" to turn on the light continuously. Use "1H" or "3H" to set a timer for continuous illumination.
  • Sensor Mode: Press "PIR" to activate motion detection. Adjust TIME, DAY/LUX/NIGHT, and SENS settings as needed.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and PIR sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cable and connections for any signs of damage or wear.
  • Bulb Replacement: The LED light source is integrated and not user-replaceable. The product has a long lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on.No power supply.
Loose wiring connection.
Remote control battery depleted.
Check circuit breaker and power source.
Verify all wiring connections are secure.
Replace remote control battery.
