Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the operation and maintenance of your iJoy Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Bluetooth Speaker. This portable, splashproof wireless speaker features Bluetooth connectivity, an SD card slot, and FM radio functionality, allowing for versatile audio playback.

Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's Micro USB charging port and to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.
2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power On/Off button located on the top panel of the speaker to turn the device on or off. A sound prompt will indicate the power status.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it is ready to pair.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "iJoy Speaker" or a similar name from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.

Operating Instructions
Control Buttons Overview

- Volume -: Press to decrease volume.
- Volume +: Press to increase volume.
- Play / Pause / Take Call: Press to play or pause audio. Press to answer an incoming call. Press and hold to reject an incoming call.
- Mode Switch (M): Press to cycle through available modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, SD Card, AUX.
- Power On / Off: Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.
Bluetooth Mode
After successful pairing (refer to Setup section), your speaker will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on. Audio from your device will play through the speaker.
SD Card Mode
Insert a Micro SD card (TF card) containing MP3 audio files into the SD card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to SD card mode and begin playing music. Use the Play/Pause and Volume buttons to control playback.
FM Radio Mode
Press the 'M' (Mode Switch) button until you hear the FM radio. For best reception, ensure the speaker is in an open area. Use the Play/Pause button to auto-scan and save available stations. Use the Volume buttons to navigate between saved stations (short press) or adjust volume (long press).
AUX Mode
Connect an external audio device using the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to the speaker's AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Control playback from your connected device.
Call Handling
When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls. Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call. Press it again to end the call. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals. Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting cables.
Water Resistance
This speaker is IPX4 rated, meaning it is splashproof and resistant to water splashes from any direction. It is not designed to be submerged in water. Avoid exposing the speaker to heavy rain or direct water jets.
Troubleshooting
- Speaker will not power on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB charging cable and try again.
- Cannot pair via Bluetooth: Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing LED). Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range (up to 30 feet). Try restarting both the speaker and your device.
- No sound or low volume: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct mode (Bluetooth, SD, FM, AUX) is selected.
- Poor sound quality: Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference. Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and the device.
- FM radio reception is poor: Try moving the speaker to a location with better signal reception, away from electronic interference.
