2. Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons.

4. Setup

  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable non-stick inner pot, detachable inner lid, measuring cup, and rice paddle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  4. Connect Power: Insert the detachable power cord into the power port at the back of the rice cooker, then plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Cooking Rice

  1. Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of uncooked rice. The cooker can handle up to 2 cups of uncooked rice, suitable for 1-2 people.
  2. Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
  3. Add Water: Place the washed rice into the inner pot. Add water according to the markings inside the inner pot (e.g., for 1 cup of rice, fill to the "1" line; for 2 cups, fill to the "2" line). Adjust water quantity based on rice type and desired consistency.
  4. Place Inner Pot: Insert the inner pot into the main unit, ensuring it sits properly on the heating plate.
  5. Close Lid: Close the lid securely.
  6. Start Cooking: Press the "Cook" lever down. The "Cook" indicator light will illuminate. The cooking process typically takes about 25 minutes.
  7. Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to "Warm" mode, and the "Warm" indicator light will illuminate. This keeps the rice warm until ready to serve.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
