This instruction manual provides detailed guidance for replacing the genuine AIRDOCTOR filters for your AD3000 or AD3500 air purifier. Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining the performance of your air purifier and ensuring clean air quality. This one-year combo pack includes one UltraHEPA filter and two Carbon/VOC filters with attached pre-filters, designed for perfect compatibility and optimal filtration.

Product Overview

The AIRDOCTOR AD3000 and AD3500 air purifiers utilize a multi-stage filtration system to capture airborne contaminants. This combo pack provides the necessary filters for approximately one year of use under normal operating conditions.

  • UltraHEPA Filter: Designed to capture ultra-fine particles as small as 0.003 microns, including dust, smoke, pet hair, dander, bacteria, and viruses. This is 100 times smaller than the HEPA standard.
  • Carbon/VOC Filter with Pre-Filter: This dual-action filter targets gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and odors, while the attached pre-filter captures larger particles, extending the life of the UltraHEPA filter.

Setup and Filter Installation

Before replacing any filters, ensure the air purifier is turned off and unplugged from the electrical outlet.

  1. Remove the Front Cover: Gently push the top edge of the front cover forward to release it. The cover is held by magnets and will detach easily.
  2. Remove Old Filters: Locate the tabs on the existing filters. Pull the tabs to slide out the old Carbon/VOC filter first, followed by the UltraHEPA filter. Dispose of used filters responsibly.
  3. Install New UltraHEPA Filter: Unpack the new UltraHEPA filter. Note the arrows on the filter frame; these indicate the direction of airflow. Insert the UltraHEPA filter into the air purifier with the arrows pointing towards the back of the unit. Ensure the filter is seated correctly.
  4. Install New Carbon/VOC Filter: Unpack a new Carbon/VOC filter with the attached pre-filter. Similar to the UltraHEPA filter, ensure the arrows on the Carbon/VOC filter frame point towards the back of the unit. Insert this filter after the UltraHEPA filter. Make sure the pull tab on the Carbon/VOC filter is facing outwards for easy removal in the future.
  5. Reattach the Front Cover: Align the front cover with the air purifier and allow the magnets to secure it back into place.
