4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Use the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to connect the speaker's USB-C port to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The 4-level LED battery display on the rear will indicate the charging progress. All four LEDs will illuminate when fully charged.
4.2. Powering On/Off
To turn the speaker ON, press and hold the Power button (usually the leftmost button on the top panel) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light. To turn the speaker OFF, press and hold the Power button again until it powers down.
5. Operating the Speaker
5.1. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode. If it's not automatically in pairing mode, press the Mode button (if available) or the Bluetooth button (if dedicated) to switch to Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will typically flash rapidly.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices. The speaker should appear as "SBL 4 A2" or similar.
- Select the speaker from the list to pair. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- The speaker supports Bluetooth v5.0 and has a range of up to 10 meters. Ensure your device is within this range for optimal connection.
5.2. Audio Playback
Once paired via Bluetooth, you can stream music wirelessly from your device. Alternatively, you can use the provided 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the speaker to any device with a 3.5 mm audio output jack (e.g., MP3 player, computer) via the AUX input port on the speaker's rear.
5.3. Controls
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (center button on top) to play or pause audio.
- Volume Up/Next Track: Press the Next Track/Volume Up button (right of Play/Pause) briefly to skip to the next track. Press and hold to increase the volume.
- Volume Down/Previous Track: Press the Previous Track/Volume Down button (left of Play/Pause) briefly to go to the previous track. Press and hold to decrease the volume.
- Mode: Press the Mode button (rightmost button on top) to switch between Bluetooth and AUX input modes.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Clean the speaker with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
