1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the ALLIMITY EDGS02 replacement remote control, designed for use with various DAIKIN and ACSON air conditioner models. This remote control requires no programming or setup; simply insert batteries to begin operation.

2. Setup: Battery Installation

The ALLIMITY EDGS02 remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3. Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use. Point the remote control directly at the air conditioner's receiver window.

Key Functions:

• Power Button (Green): Turns the air conditioner ON or OFF.
• MODE Button: Cycles through operating modes (e.g., Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto).

4. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your remote control:

• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's display becomes dim or the remote stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries.
• Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote.
