3. Setup Guide
- Power On: Connect the camera to the power adapter using the provided USB-C cable and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will initiate its startup sequence.
- Download App: Scan the QR code in the user manual or search for the recommended app (e.g., "Tuya Smart Life" or similar, as indicated in the manual) on your smartphone's app store. Install the application.
- Register/Login: Open the app and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves selecting "Add Device" or "Security Camera" and then choosing the appropriate camera model.
- Network Connection: The app will guide you to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz compatible. The camera supports dual-band connectivity. You may need to display a QR code on your phone screen for the camera to scan, establishing the connection.
- Initial Password: The default username is often "admin". The default password for the camera may be "123456" or "12345678" as found on the device label or in the manual. It is highly recommended to change this default password immediately after initial setup for security purposes.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pan-Tilt Control

4.2 Motion Detection & Tracking

6. Mounting and Installation
The camera comes with a mounting bracket and screws for installation. It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Ensure the mounting location provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and is within range of your Wi-Fi network. For outdoor installation, position the camera under an overhang or protected area to minimize direct exposure to harsh weather conditions, despite its IP66 rating.

- Outdoor Use Considerations:
- While rated IP66 for weather resistance, direct and prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather conditions can potentially affect the camera's longevity. It is recommended to install the camera in a sheltered location, such as under an eave or porch, to provide additional protection.
- Ensure the power connection is also protected from moisture.
