Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the LED indicator will change or turn off, indicating the speaker is ready for use.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED). If not, press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "boAt Stone 580" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and an audible confirmation will be heard.

2. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Feature

The TWS feature allows you to connect two boAt Stone 580 speakers for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both Stone 580 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Play/Pause button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. An audible prompt will confirm the successful TWS connection.
  4. Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the 'Bluetooth Pairing' section.
  5. Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.

3. FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the Mode button repeatedly until you hear an FM radio prompt.
  2. To auto-scan and save FM channels, press and hold the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and store available stations.
  3. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons (short press) to switch between saved FM channels.

4. AUX Mode

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the speaker's AUX port.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).
  3. Press the Mode button until the speaker enters AUX mode.
  4. Control playback and volume directly from your connected device.

5. USB Playback Mode

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the speaker's USB port.
  2. Press the Mode button until the speaker enters USB playback mode.
  3. The speaker will automatically begin playing audio files from the USB drive.
  4. Use the Play/Pause and Volume Up/Down buttons to control playback.

  • If using AUX, check the cable for damage.
Poor sound quality/distortion.

  • Ensure there are no obstacles between the speaker and your device.
  • Try playing a different audio source.
TWS pairing fails.
  • Ensure both speakers are Stone 580 models.
  • Make sure both speakers are not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing.
  • Repeat the TWS pairing steps carefully.
