4. Operating Instructions

Your GOSONKT ceiling fan can be controlled using the included remote control or a dedicated smartphone application.

4.1 Remote Control Operation

Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote control. The remote allows for comprehensive control of your fan and light functions:

• Light ON/OFF: Toggles the LED light on or off.
• Fan Off: Turns the fan off.
• Color Temperature +/-: Adjusts the light color from warm to cool (3000K, 4000K, 6500K).
• Night Light Mode: Activates a low-brightness, soft light setting.
• Forward/Reverse (F/R): Changes the fan blade rotation direction for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow).
• 1-6 Fan Speeds: Selects fan speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
• All Off: Turns off both the fan and the light.
• Pair Code: Used for pairing the remote with the fan (refer to pairing instructions).
• Brightness +/-: Dims or brightens the light.
• Natural Wind: Simulates a natural breeze by varying fan speeds.
• 1/2H Timer: Sets a timer for the fan/light to turn off after 1/2 hour, 1 hour, or 2 hours.

4.2 Smart APP Control Operation

Control your fan and light conveniently from your smartphone:

1. App Installation: Scan the QR code provided in Figure 4.1 or visit https://www.jasonghost.com/fanlamppro/ to download the "FanLampPro" app.
2. Pairing: Once the app is installed and the fan is powered on, press the "Pair Code" button on the remote control within 5 seconds of powering on the device. Follow the app's instructions to complete pairing.
3. Fan Control: Once paired, use the app to manage various functions including brightness, color temperature, timer settings, airflow direction (forward/reverse), and natural breeze mode.

4.3 Fan Modes and Light Settings

• Summer Mode: Set the fan to rotate counter-clockwise (downward airflow) to create a cooling breeze.
• Winter Mode: Set the fan to rotate clockwise (upward airflow) to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling, improving heat distribution.
• Adjustable Lighting: The LED light offers three color temperatures (Warm, Neutral, Cool) and dimmable brightness to suit your mood and activity.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning:
  • Before cleaning, ensure the power to the fan is turned off at the circuit breaker.
  • Wipe the fan blades and light cover with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
  • Dust the motor housing and other accessible parts regularly.
• Blade Inspection: Periodically check the fan blades for any signs of damage or imbalance. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
