- Speaker Cable: Connect to your vehicle's speakers, ensuring correct polarity.
- Microphone: Plug in the external microphone for clearer hands-free calls.
4.3 Backup Camera Installation
The included backup camera should be mounted at the rear of your vehicle. Connect its video output to the 'CAMIN' input on the stereo and its power to the reverse light circuit so it activates automatically when shifting into reverse gear.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your UNITOPSCI car stereo, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the touchscreen and exterior. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for prolonged periods, as this can affect electronic components.
- Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- Software Updates: Check the official UNITOPSCI website for any available firmware updates to ensure the best performance and compatibility.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your car stereo, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Incorrect wiring; Blown fuse | Check power cable connections (ACC, B+, GND). Inspect and replace any blown fuses. |
| No sound | Incorrect speaker wiring; Volume too low; Mute activated | Verify speaker connections and polarity. Increase volume. Check if mute function is active. |
| Bluetooth not connecting | Bluetooth not enabled on phone/stereo; Incorrect pairing process | Ensure Bluetooth is on for both devices. Delete previous pairings and re-pair. |
| CarPlay/Android Auto issues | Phone compatibility; Software glitch; Connectivity issue | Ensure your phone OS is up to date. Restart both phone and stereo. For wired Mirror Link, use original USB cable. Note: Android Auto may not work for some Samsung phones. |
| Backup camera not displaying | Incorrect wiring; Camera malfunction | Check camera video input (CAMIN) and power connections to reverse light. Ensure camera is functional. |
| Radio/CarPlay conflict (as per user review) | System design limitation | When using navigation via CarPlay/Android Auto, audio may default to phone output. You may need to manually switch back to radio mode if not using navigation audio. |
