Product Overview

Safety Information

Always ensure the system is unplugged before performing any maintenance beyond filter replacement. Do not attempt to disassemble the filter or the main unit. Use only genuine Waterdrop replacement filters to maintain product warranty and performance. Keep the product away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Filter Replacement

The Waterdrop WD-KJF filter is designed for easy, direct replacement without needing to shut off the main water supply or power. Follow these steps:

1. Prepare for Replacement: Turn off the tap and wait for 30 seconds to fully release any residual pressure from the system.
2. Remove Old Filter: Locate the filter compartment. Twist the old filter counter-clockwise until it detaches, then pull it out.
3. Install New Filter: Insert the new WD-KJF filter into the compartment. Twist it clockwise until the filter handle aligns with the display bar, indicating it is securely in place.
4. Reset Filter Life Indicator: On the system's control panel, press and hold the filter reset key (labeled 'KJF') for 5 seconds. You will hear a 'beep' sound, and the indicator light will turn blue, confirming the reset.
5. Flush the System: After resetting, the system will automatically flush for 60 seconds. Following this, the cold water key will flash. Touch this key to initiate a manual flush for 15 minutes, or until the faucet stops dispensing water. This ensures any air or carbon fines are cleared from the new filter.

Operation

Once the filter is replaced and flushed, your Waterdrop WD-KJ600 system is ready for use. The smart touch faucet allows for precise temperature control and instant dispensing of purified water.

Maintenance

Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining the quality of your purified water and the efficiency of your Waterdrop system. The WD-KJF filter has a recommended service life of 12 months or 1,600 gallons. Always monitor the filter life indicator on your system and faucet, and replace the filter promptly when indicated.
