4. Setup and Filter Installation

Your Airmega AIM unit comes with filters pre-installed, but they may be wrapped in plastic for shipping. Please follow these steps before first use:

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Access the Filter Compartment: Locate the filter compartment on the back of the unit. Gently twist the back cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Remove Filter Packaging: Take out the filter set. The 3-in-1 filter (Pre-Filter, True HEPA, Deodorization) is integrated. Remove all plastic packaging from the filter.
  4. Install Filters: Insert the unwrapped filter set back into the unit. Ensure it is seated correctly. The pre-filter should be facing outwards.
  5. Replace Cover: Align the back cover with the unit and twist clockwise to lock it securely in place.
  6. Position the Unit: Place the Airmega AIM on a flat, stable surface, ensuring there is at least 6 inches of clear space around all sides for optimal airflow.
  7. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
