3. Setup and Installation

The Fodsports FX8 mounting bracket offers two primary methods for attachment to your helmet: using the iron clip or the 3M double-sided adhesive.

3.1 Using the Iron Clip

1. Prepare the Bracket: Ensure the mounting bracket is clean and free of debris.
2. Attach Iron Clip: Slide the iron clip into the designated slot on the mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place.
3. Position on Helmet: Carefully slide the assembled bracket and clip onto the edge of your helmet, typically on the left side. Ensure the clip firmly grips the helmet shell without obstructing any moving parts or ventilation.
