Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene:

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Empty Water: Remove the face mask and top housing. Carefully empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
  3. Clean Components: Wash the face mask and water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
  4. Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  5. Replace Vapor Pad: Discard used vapor pads after each session.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your steam inhaler, try the following:

  • No Steam Production: Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and the power switch is on. Check that the water reservoir is filled to the appropriate level. Allow sufficient time for the water to heat up (indicator light should be solid green).
  • Unit Not Turning On: Verify the power cord is securely connected to both the unit and a working electrical outlet.
  • Leaking: Ensure the top housing and face mask are securely twisted and pressed into place. Do not overfill the water reservoir.
  • Weak Steam: Check the water level. If low, the unit may produce less steam before automatically shutting off. Ensure the steam output setting is on 'HIGH' if you desire stronger steam.
