Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
To turn the Broom Vac on, press the power button located on the main unit. Press it again to turn the unit off.
Using the Broom Vac
The Dirt Devil Broom Vac is designed for efficient cleaning of hard floor surfaces. It combines the sweeping action of a broom with the suction power of a vacuum.
- Sweeping: Use the Broom Vac like a traditional broom to gather debris into a pile.
- Vacuuming: Once debris is gathered, activate the vacuum function to suction the dirt into the dirt cup. The vacuum is most effective when pulling the unit towards you over the debris.
- Edge Cleaning: The design allows for effective cleaning along edges and in corners.

- Position the dirt cup over a trash receptacle.
- Open the bottom flap of the dirt cup to release collected debris.

Cleaning the Filter
The Broom Vac features a reusable and rinsable filter. Clean the filter regularly to maintain suction power.
- With the dirt cup detached, remove the filter assembly.
- Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove loose dirt.
- Rinse the filter under cool running water until the water runs clear.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the dirt cup. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
