1. Introduction

This accessory is designed to enhance your photography experience with Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II cameras by providing extended battery life and improved ergonomics for vertical shooting. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper installation and operation.

2. Product Features
- Extended Battery Life: Accommodates one or two EN-EL15c batteries (backward compatible with EN-EL15b, EN-EL15a, and EN-EL15) for prolonged shooting sessions.
- Vertical Shooting Controls: Features a dedicated shutter release, main command dial, sub-command dial, AF-ON button, and Fn button for comfortable and intuitive vertical operation.
- USB-C Charging: Allows in-grip charging of EN-EL15c and EN-EL15b batteries via a USB Type-C cable (not included). Note: EN-EL15a and EN-EL15 batteries do not support in-grip charging.
- Hot-Swappable Batteries: When two batteries are installed, batteries can be replaced without powering off the camera, ensuring uninterrupted shooting.

3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to correctly install the NEEWER MB-N11 Battery Grip onto your Nikon Z6 II or Z7 II camera:
- Prepare the Camera: Ensure your camera is powered off. Open the camera's battery chamber cover and remove the camera battery.
- Remove Battery Chamber Cover: The battery grip includes a slot to store the camera's original battery chamber cover. Carefully detach the battery chamber cover from your camera and insert it into the designated slot on the battery grip to prevent loss.
- Insert Batteries into Grip: Open the battery tray on the MB-N11 grip. Insert one or two compatible EN-EL15 series batteries into the tray, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery tray securely.
- Attach Grip to Camera: Align the battery grip with the camera's battery chamber. Insert the grip's electrical contacts into the camera's battery slot.
- Secure the Grip: Use the mounting screw on the battery grip to firmly attach it to the camera's tripod socket. Turn the locking dial until the grip is securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions
The MB-N11 battery grip replicates essential camera controls for seamless vertical shooting.
4.1 Vertical Shooting
When shooting in portrait orientation, use the dedicated controls on the grip:
- Shutter Release: Press the shutter release button on the grip to take photos.
- Command Dials: Use the main and sub-command dials on the grip to adjust camera settings (e.g., aperture, shutter speed) as you would with the camera's built-in dials.
- AF-ON Button: Activate autofocus using the AF-ON button on the grip.
- Fn Button & Multi-Selector: Utilize the Fn button and multi-selector for quick access to custom functions or menu navigation.

4.2 Battery Management
- Battery Indicator: The grip features a battery indicator to show the power status of the installed batteries.
- In-Grip Charging: Connect a USB Type-C cable (not included) to the grip's charging port to charge EN-EL15c or EN-EL15b batteries while they are inside the grip.
- Hot-Swapping: If two batteries are installed, you can remove and replace one battery without interrupting camera operation. This is ideal for continuous shooting or video recording.

5. Maintenance
