2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
  4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  8. Do not use outdoors.
  9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  14. Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a toaster oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
  15. A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
  16. Do not place any materials other than manufacturer's recommended accessories in the oven.
  17. Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic, or similar products in the oven.
  18. Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
  19. Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.
  2. Placement: Place the toaster oven on a stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation (at least 4 inches of space on all sides). Do not place it near flammable materials.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth. Wash the baking rack, baking tray, and crumb tray in warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
  4. First Use Burn-Off: It is recommended to run the oven empty for about 15 minutes at the maximum temperature (450°F) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this process; ensure good ventilation.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your COOK WITH COLOR Mini Toaster Oven:

  1. Prepare Food: Place your food item on the baking tray or directly on the baking rack, depending on the recipe.
  2. Insert Tray/Rack: Slide the baking tray or rack into the desired slot inside the oven.
  3. Close Door: Securely close the oven door.
  4. Set Temperature: Turn the TEMP knob to your desired temperature (Min to 450°F).
  5. Set Time: Turn the TIME knob clockwise to your desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes). The oven will begin heating. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Automatic Shutoff: When the set time elapses, the oven will automatically turn off, and a bell will sound.
  7. Remove Food: Carefully open the oven door and use oven mitts to remove the hot food and accessories.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your toaster oven.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Crumb Tray: Pull out the removable crumb tray from the bottom of the oven. Discard crumbs and wash the tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
  3. Baking Rack & Tray: Wash these accessories in warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak them before scrubbing. Rinse and dry completely.
  4. Interior: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating.
  5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surface with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  6. Glass Door: Clean the glass door with a soft cloth and a glass cleaner or mild soapy water.

Note: Never immerse the main toaster oven unit in water or any other liquid.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your toaster oven, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
