It shows the protector connected in series with a main power switch and an air switch (circuit breaker), indicating the Live (L) and Neutral (N) input and output connections.
  • Connect the incoming Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the "IN" terminals of the protector.
  • Connect the outgoing Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the "OUT" terminals of the protector, leading to the protected load.
  • Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • After proper installation and wiring, turn on the main power supply. The device will display the current voltage and current.
  • To manually turn the output on or off, press the Power button (Power button icon).

6.2 Parameter Setting

The device allows for adjustment of various protection parameters. Follow the flowchart and steps below to configure the settings.

DEWIN Voltage Protector Parameter Setting Flowchart
Image: DEWIN Voltage Protector Parameter Setting Flowchart. This flowchart details the steps for configuring the device's protection parameters. It shows how to enter settings, adjust values for overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, boot time, relay operation time, and recovery time after overload, using the 'SET' and 'Up/Down' buttons.
  1. Enter Setting Mode: Short press the SET button to enter the setting state. The display will show "P_1".
  2. Navigate Parameters: Short press the SET button again to cycle through the parameters (P_1 to P_6).
  3. Adjust Values: When the desired parameter (e.g., P_1 for overvoltage) is displayed, use the Up (Up button icon) and Down (Down button icon) buttons to adjust the value. Press and hold the Up/Down buttons for faster adjustment.
  4. Confirm and Exit: After setting all parameters, short press the SET button until the device exits the setting mode and returns to displaying real-time voltage and current. If no button is pressed for a few seconds, the device will automatically exit setting mode.

Parameter Descriptions:

  • P_1: Overvoltage Regulation (230V-300V, default 270V): Sets the voltage threshold at which overvoltage protection activates.
  • P_2: Undervoltage Setting (140V-210V, default 170V): Sets the voltage threshold at which undervoltage protection activates.
  • P_3: Overcurrent Value (1-63A, default 63A): Sets the current threshold at which overcurrent protection activates.
  • P_4: Boot Time Value (1-300S, default 30S): Sets the delay time before the device powers on after a power interruption or manual power-on.
  • P_5: Time Value when the Relay Operates (1-300S, default 30S): This parameter refers to the recovery delay for voltage protection (overvoltage/undervoltage).
  • P_6: Recovery Time after Overload (30-300S, default 30S): Sets the delay time before the device restores power after an overcurrent event.
