Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on base unit | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Check battery polarity and replace with fresh AAA batteries. |
| No outdoor temperature/humidity reading | Outdoor sensor batteries are dead, sensor is out of range, or interference. | Replace outdoor sensor batteries. Move sensor closer to the base unit. Ensure no large metal objects are between units. Re-synchronize if necessary (refer to setup instructions). |
| Inaccurate readings | Sensor placed in direct sunlight or near heat sources. | Relocate the outdoor sensor to a shaded, well-ventilated area. Ensure base unit is not near heat sources or vents. |
| Time/Date not setting automatically | Weak DCF signal or interference. | Move the base unit to a location with better signal reception, away from electronic devices that may cause interference. Allow more time for synchronization. |
