6.2 Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the boiler, especially in areas with hard water. Descale the unit periodically (e.g., every 1-3 months depending on water hardness) using a commercial descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water. Follow the descaling product's instructions carefully, or for vinegar, fill the tank with a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water, let it sit for a few hours (or overnight), then drain and rinse thoroughly several times.
