3. Before First Use

Before using your new air fryer for the first time, please follow these steps:

  1. Unpack the Appliance: Carefully remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the air fryer.
  2. Clean Components: Wash the frying basket and the non-stick pan thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry completely. The pan is dishwasher safe.
  3. Wipe Main Unit: Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Initial Run (Optional): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to burn off any manufacturing residues. Ensure good ventilation during this process.

4. Setup

Proper setup ensures safe and efficient operation of your air fryer.

  1. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides of the appliance, and above it, to allow for proper air circulation.
  2. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. Ensure the outlet voltage matches the specifications of the air fryer.
  3. Insert Pan and Basket: Slide the non-stick pan with the frying basket into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.

5.2 Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the frying basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket back into the air fryer until it is securely closed.
  3. Power On: The appliance will automatically power on when plugged in. The display will illuminate.
  4. Set Temperature and Time: Use the Temperature (+/-) and Time (+/-) buttons to set your desired cooking temperature and duration.
  5. Start Cooking: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cooking process. The air fryer will start heating.
  6. Shaking (Optional): For some foods, it is recommended to shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning. Carefully pull out the basket, shake, and reinsert. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
  7. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the cooked food.

5.3 Using Preset Programs

The air fryer comes with 8 automatic programs for common dishes. To use a preset program:

  1. Select Program: Tap the icon corresponding to your desired food type on the touchscreen (e.g., Fries, Chicken). The air fryer will automatically set the optimal temperature and time.
  2. Adjust (Optional): You can manually adjust the temperature and time even after selecting a preset, if needed.
  3. Start Cooking: Press the Start/Pause button to begin.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Air Fryer

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Basket and Pan: Remove the frying basket and pan. These parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residues, soak them in hot water for about 10 minutes.
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the inside of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth.
  5. Heating Element: Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residues.
  6. Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the appliance.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, refer to the table below for common problems and their solutions.
