Setup

1. Battery Installation

The ISTOYO Premium Resin Mixer Pro requires 4 AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:

1. Unscrew the bottom cap of the mixer unit.
2. Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Screw the bottom cap back on securely.

2. Attaching the Mixing Paddle

Select the appropriate paddle for your mixing needs. To attach a paddle:

1. Align the end of the paddle with the opening at the top of the mixer unit.
2. Gently push the paddle into the opening until it clicks securely into place. It should fit snugly.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

The mixer features a simple one-button operation:

• Press the button once to turn the mixer on.
• Press the button again to switch between clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation modes.
• Press and hold the button to turn the mixer off.

2. Mixing Process

For optimal results and to minimize bubbles:

1. Place the paddle into the liquid you intend to mix before turning the mixer on.
2. Turn on the mixer and select your desired rotation direction.
3. Move the mixer gently through the liquid to ensure thorough and even mixing.
4. The mixer is recommended for mixing 4 oz. or 8 oz. of liquid for best results.
5. Once mixing is complete, turn off the mixer before removing the paddle from the liquid.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Paddles

To ensure the longevity of your mixing paddles and prevent resin buildup:

1. Immediately after use, wipe off any excess wet resin from the paddle with a paper towel or cloth.
2. Wash the paddles with mild soap and warm water.
3. Alternatively, if resin has dried, you can easily peel off the cured epoxy resin from the silicone paddle.
4. Ensure paddles are completely dry before storing.

Troubleshooting

• Mixer does not turn on: Check if the 4 AAA batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
• Weak motor or slow mixing: Ensure fresh batteries are used. The mixer is designed for specific viscosities; extremely thick liquids may reduce performance.
• Paddle wobbles or falls out: Ensure the paddle is fully inserted and securely clicked into the mixer unit.
• Excessive bubbles during mixing: Ensure the paddle is submerged in the liquid before starting the mixer. Mix at a moderate speed and avoid lifting the paddle out of the liquid while operating.
