2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the device and connected equipment:
- Important Note: This product is an AC to DC adapter, not a charger. It cannot be used to charge electronic devices with batteries.
- Always verify the correct voltage and current requirements of your device before connecting. Incorrect voltage can damage your equipment.
- Ensure the working voltage of your device is DC 4V~24V and the current is not greater than 6A.
- For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to use the adapter at less than 80% of its full load capacity (i.e., less than 115.2W).
- The adapter features built-in safety protection systems including automatic over-voltage cut-off, over-current cut-off, over-temperature cut-off, and short-circuit cut-off.
- The exterior is made of fire-retardant material to minimize fire hazards.
- Use only indoors. Keep the adapter away from water, moisture, and high temperatures.
- Do not disassemble or modify the adapter. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1 x SHNITPWR Adjustable AC/DC Power Adapter
- 14 x DC Connector Tips
- 1 x Reverse Polarity Converter Cable
4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your power adapter:
- Verify Device Compatibility: Before connecting, confirm that your electronic device requires a DC input voltage between 4V and 24V and a current not exceeding 6A. Check your device's specifications or original power adapter.
- Select the Correct DC Tip: The adapter comes with 14 different DC connector tips. Identify the tip that matches your device's power input port. The original tip is 5.5x2.5mm. Other common tips include 6.5x4.4mm+Pin, 5.5x2.1mm, 5.5x3.0mm+Pin, 5.0x2.5mm, 6.3x3.0mm, 5.5x1.7mm, 4.8x1.7mm, 4.0x1.7mm, 3.5x1.35mm, 3.0x1.1mm, 2.5x0.7mm, Micro-B, Type-C, and a DC terminal connector for custom wiring.

- Check Polarity: Most devices use center-positive polarity. If your device requires center-negative polarity, use the included reverse polarity converter cable. Connect the selected DC tip to the converter cable, then connect the converter cable to the adapter's output cable.
- Set Voltage (Before Connecting to Device): With the adapter unplugged from the wall outlet, rotate the voltage adjustment knob to the 'OFF' position. Then, connect the adapter's AC plug to a standard 100-240V AC wall outlet. The LCD display will illuminate. Carefully rotate the voltage adjustment knob to select the required output voltage for your device. The LCD display will show the current output voltage.
- Connect to Device: Once the correct voltage is set and verified, connect the DC output tip to your electronic device.

5. Operating Instructions
After successful setup, operate the power adapter as follows:
- Power On/Off: The adapter can be turned on or off by rotating the voltage adjustment knob. Turn it to the 'OFF' position to power down without unplugging.
- Voltage Adjustment: Use the rotary knob to precisely adjust the output voltage from 4V to 24V. The LCD display provides real-time voltage readings.
- Monitoring: The LCD display continuously shows the output voltage, allowing you to monitor the power supply to your device.
- Load Management: To ensure the longevity of the adapter and prevent overheating, avoid operating it consistently at its maximum 144W (6A) capacity. Maintain the load below 80% (approx. 115.2W).

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your power adapter:
- Cleaning: Disconnect the adapter from the power outlet and all devices before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the adapter in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Cable Care: Do not bend or crimp the power cables excessively. Avoid placing heavy objects on the cables.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your power adapter, refer to the following:
- No Power/Display Off:
- Ensure the adapter is securely plugged into a working wall outlet.
- Check that the voltage adjustment knob is not in the 'OFF' position.
- Verify the wall outlet is supplying power by testing with another device.
- Device Not Powering On:
- Confirm the selected DC tip is firmly connected to your device and the adapter.
- Double-check that the output voltage displayed on the adapter matches your device's requirements.
- Ensure the polarity is correct for your device. Use the reverse polarity cable if necessary.
- Verify your device's current requirement does not exceed 6A. If it does, the adapter's over-current protection may activate.
- Test the adapter with another compatible device to isolate the issue.
- Adapter Overheating:
- Reduce the load on the adapter. Ensure the connected device's power consumption is below 80% of the adapter's maximum capacity (115.2W).
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the adapter. Do not cover it.
- Inaccurate Voltage Display: While the built-in display is generally accurate, minor discrepancies may occur. For applications requiring extreme precision, verify the output with an external multimeter.
