3. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure you have a YoLink Hub and the YoLink app installed on your smartphone. The float switch requires a YoLink Hub for full functionality and alerts.

1. Open the YoLink app and log in to your account.
2. Tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code on your float switch or manually enter the device ID.

  YoLink devices support Device-to-Device (D2D) control, meaning essential actions like leak-to-shutoff can still function even without internet or power to the Hub, provided the devices are within range of each other and configured for D2D. However, app notifications require the Hub to be online and connected to the internet.
