3. Setup
Initial Charging:
Before using your VGR V-282 hair clipper for the first time, ensure it is fully charged. Connect the USB charging cable to the clipper and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The LED display will indicate the charging progress. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 200 minutes of work time.

Attaching Guide Combs:
Select the desired guide comb for your preferred hair length. The VGR V-282 comes with 6 guide combs for various cutting lengths. Align the comb with the clipper head and push it firmly until it clicks into place. To remove, gently pull the comb away from the clipper head.
4. Operating Instructions
Basic Operation:
- Ensure the clipper is charged and a guide comb is securely attached if needed.
- Press the ON/OFF switch to power on the clipper.
- Hold the clipper firmly and move it against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
- For detailed styling, use the taper lever to adjust the blade position for finer length control.
- After use, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the clipper.
Adjusting Cutting Length:
The VGR V-282 features a four-speed micro-adjustment system and six guide combs to control hair length. The guide combs allow for lengths such as 1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 10mm, and 13mm. The taper lever on the side of the clipper provides additional fine-tuning of the cutting length without changing combs.

Usage Tips:
- For best results, use the clipper on clean, dry hair.
- Start with a longer guide comb and gradually reduce the length if desired.
- Move the clipper slowly and steadily for an even cut.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Blades:
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your clipper.
- Turn off the clipper and disconnect it from any power source.
- Remove the guide comb.
- Use the included cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades and the clipper body.
- For a more thorough cleaning, you may carefully detach the blade assembly (refer to specific instructions if provided with your product for blade removal).
- Apply a small drop of clipper oil (not included) to the blades periodically to keep them lubricated and sharp.
Storage:
When not in use, store the VGR V-282 hair clipper with its protective cover in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. This helps protect the blades and the device from damage.
