1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater, and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Discard heater or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has an automatic Overheat Protection feature. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater, wait 10 minutes for it to cool, then plug it back in.
  • The heater also includes a Tip-Over Protection switch, which automatically turns off the heater if it is accidentally knocked over.
  • The exterior cabinet features a Cool Touch Exterior, ensuring safe operation even when the heater is in use.
  • This appliance is equipped with a Child Lock function to prevent unintended operation.

3. Setup

  1. Unpack the Heater: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or shipping if needed.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects. Do not place the heater on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake. This heater is for indoor use only.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a grounded 120V, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips. Ensure the outlet is rated for 12.5 Amps.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control. The remote control provides visual feedback via an LED indicator.

Control Buttons:

  • Power Button (⏻): Turns the heater ON or OFF.

  • High (1500W): Provides maximum heat output for rapid warming.

  • ECO Mode: Automatically adjusts the heat output to maintain a consistent temperature of 68°F (20°C), optimizing energy consumption.

Press the Mode button (☀) to cycle through these settings.

4.4 Temperature Control

The heater features an electronic thermostat allowing you to set your desired room temperature between 50°F and 90°F (10°C and 32°C).

  1. With the heater ON, use the Temperature Up (▲) or Temperature Down (▼) buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
  2. The display will show the set temperature, then revert to showing the current room temperature.
  3. The heater will cycle ON and OFF to maintain the set temperature.

4.5 Timer Function

The 12-hour programmable timer allows you to set the heater to turn ON or OFF automatically after a specified duration.

  1. To set Auto-OFF: While the heater is ON, press the Timer button (⏱). The display will flash '00'. Use the Temperature Up (▲) or Temperature Down (▼) buttons to set the desired number of hours (1-12) before the heater turns off. The timer will activate after a few seconds.

4.6 Child Lock Feature

  1. To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock button (🔒) for 3 seconds. An indicator light or symbol will appear on the display.
  2. While Child Lock is active, all other buttons on the control panel and remote control will be unresponsive.
  3. To deactivate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock button (🔒) again for 3 seconds. The indicator will disappear.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

  1. Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  2. Air Filter: Periodically check and clean the air filter (if applicable, typically located at the rear or side intake). Remove any accumulated dust or debris using a vacuum cleaner or by rinsing with water (ensure it's completely dry before reinserting).
