Setup
1. Unfolding and Adjusting Legs
- Extend Legs: Twist the leg locks counter-clockwise to loosen, extend the leg sections to the desired height, then twist clockwise to tighten. The legs feature three sections for adjustable height.
- Adjust Leg Angles: Pull out the blue angle adjustment buttons at the top of each leg to select one of the three available leg angles (e.g., 22°, 55°, 85°). This allows for stable positioning on uneven terrain or for low-angle shots.

2. Attaching the Ball Head
- The B-00K ball head is typically pre-attached. Ensure it is securely fastened to the tripod's mounting screw. The mounting screw is convertible between 1/4" and 3/8" for compatibility with various heads.
3. Attaching Your Camera
- Attach Quick Release Plate: Secure the standard Arca-Swiss quick release plate to the bottom of your camera using the 1/4" screw. Ensure it is tightened firmly with the provided Allen wrench to prevent loosening during use.
- Mount Camera to Ball Head: Slide the quick release plate with your camera into the clamp on the B-00K ball head. Tighten the clamp knob until the camera is securely held. The safety lock mechanism prevents accidental sliding.

Operating the Tripod
1. Panoramic Rotation
The B-00K ball head features a 360° panorama base. Loosen the panning knob to rotate the camera smoothly for panoramic shots. Tighten the knob to lock the position.

2. Vertical Shooting
The B-00K ball head includes a vertical notch, allowing you to quickly tilt your camera 90 degrees for portrait-oriented shots. Loosen the main ball head knob, adjust the camera to the vertical position, and then re-tighten the knob.
3. Low-Angle and Macro Photography
The tripod's no-center-column design and flexible leg angles allow it to lay nearly flat to the ground, making it ideal for macro photography or capturing unique low-angle perspectives.

4. Accessory Ports
The tripod features 1/4" accessory ports, allowing you to attach additional equipment such as microphones, LED lights, or external monitors directly to the tripod for enhanced versatility.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. If exposed to sand, dust, or saltwater, clean thoroughly to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation of leg locks and joints.
- Lubrication: Periodically check leg locks and ball head mechanisms for smooth movement. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant if necessary, avoiding excessive application.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Check Tightness: Regularly inspect all screws and connections, especially the quick release plate screw, and tighten them with the appropriate tools (e.g., Allen wrench) if they become loose.
Troubleshooting
Quick Release Plate Loosening
If the quick release plate frequently loosens from your camera, ensure it is securely tightened using the provided Allen wrench. Some users prefer quick release plates with a D-ring for easier manual tightening, but for this model, the Allen wrench is essential for a firm connection.
Ball Head Movement Issues
If the ball head or its base rotates unexpectedly when adjusting the camera angle, ensure all locking knobs are fully tightened. The main ball head knob controls the ball's movement, while the panning knob controls the 360° rotation. Both should be firmly secured after adjustment.
