3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED strip lights:

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. A clean surface ensures optimal adhesion of the strip.
  2. Connect Components:
    • Connect the LED strip to the control box.
    • Connect the control box to the 24V power adapter.
    • Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

  3. Test Lights: Before peeling off the adhesive, plug in the lights to ensure they function correctly.
  4. Adhesion: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface, working in small sections to ensure smooth and secure attachment.
  5. Corners and Bends: For corners, avoid sharp 90-degree bends that can damage the strip. Instead, create a small loop or fold the strip gently to navigate corners. This ensures the LEDs lay flat and prevents damage to the internal circuitry.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your DAYBETTER RGBW IC LED Strip Lights, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Avoid Water: These lights are designed for indoor use and are not water resistant. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
  • Heat Dissipation: Ensure the LED strip is fully unrolled and not coiled when in use to prevent overheating and ensure proper heat dissipation.
  • Adhesive Care: If repositioning is necessary, do so carefully to avoid damaging the adhesive or the strip. Excessive repositioning may weaken the adhesive.

    • App synchronization: Ensure the app is properly connected via Bluetooth and try re-syncing.
    • Physical damage: Inspect the strip for any visible damage or kinks, especially at bends or connection points.
  • Poor Adhesive:
    • Surface cleanliness: Re-clean the surface thoroughly and ensure it is completely dry before re-applying.
    • Temperature: Ensure the installation environment is not too cold, as extreme temperatures can affect adhesive performance.
  • Remote Not Responding:
