The LEKATO Digital Metronome M65 is a compact, versatile electronic metronome designed to assist musicians with timing and rhythm practice. Featuring a rechargeable battery, multiple beat sounds, and adjustable settings, it is suitable for a wide array of musical instruments and skill levels.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Metronome

The LEKATO M65 features a built-in USB rechargeable battery. Use the provided USB cable to connect the metronome to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The battery indicator on the LCD screen will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 4-5 hours of continuous use at medium volume.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the POWER button until the LCD screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the POWER button until the LCD screen turns off.

5.2 Adjusting Tempo (BPM)

  • Use the SPEED ▲ and SPEED ▼ buttons to increase or decrease the tempo. The tempo range is 30-280 bpm.
  • TAP Function: Press the TAP button repeatedly at your desired pace. The metronome will automatically set the tempo based on your taps.

5.3 Changing Beat Sounds

  • Press the SOUND button to cycle through the 10 available beat sounds. These include human voice, digital, clave, metronome, bongo, cowbell, rimshot, agogo, conga, and hihat.

5.4 Adjusting Rhythm

  • Press the RHY button to select different rhythmic patterns.

5.5 Volume Control & Headphone Use

  • The metronome features a volume slider on the side to adjust the output level.
  • For private practice, plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack located on the side of the device.

6. Maintenance

Keep the metronome clean and dry. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device unresponsive: If the metronome becomes unresponsive, locate the small RESET button (often a small pinhole) on the device and press it with a thin object (e.g., paperclip) to restart the unit.
  • No sound: Check the volume slider on the side of the device. Ensure headphones are properly plugged in if using them.
  • Battery not charging: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the metronome and a working power source.
