Setup

Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides over 10 hours of continuous use.

Connection Modes

Your RisoPhy keyboard supports three connection modes: Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth (BT1/BT2). Use the switch on the side of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

  1. Wired Mode:

Connect the USB Type-C cable directly from the keyboard to your computer's USB port. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging. This mode offers the most stable connection and allows simultaneous charging and use.

  2. 2.4G Wireless Mode:

Locate the 2.4G USB receiver (dongle), typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard. Plug the receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer. Slide the mode switch on the keyboard to the "2.4G" position. The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press Fn + R to initiate pairing.

  3. Bluetooth Mode (BT1 / BT2):

The keyboard supports two separate Bluetooth connections (BT1 and BT2), allowing you to switch between two paired devices.

    • Slide the mode switch on the keyboard to either "BT1" or "BT2".
    • To enter pairing mode, press and hold Fn + Q (for BT1) or Fn + W (for BT2) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
    • On your device (PC, Mac, iPad, phone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for "RisoPhy Keyboard" or a similar name. Select it to pair.
    • Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing. You can switch between BT1 and BT2 by sliding the mode switch.

  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Charge it when the low battery indicator appears. If storing for a long period, charge it to about 50% and turn off the power switch.
  • Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
