Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the Moimhear Bunk Bed requires two adults. Please ensure you have sufficient space and all components before beginning. The bed is shipped in 3 separate cartons, which may arrive at different times.
Tools Required:
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Hex Key (usually included)
- Rubber Mallet (optional, for gentle tapping)
Assembly Steps:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the included parts list to ensure all pieces are present.
- Assemble Bed Ends: Begin by assembling the headboards and footboards for both the upper and lower beds. Attach the side rails to form the bed frames.
- Install Slats: Place the wooden slats onto the designated supports within each bed frame. Ensure slats are evenly spaced and securely fastened. There are 15 slats for both the upper and lower bunks.
- Connect Bunks (for bunk bed configuration): Carefully lift the upper bed frame and align it with the lower bed frame's support posts. Secure them using the provided hardware.
- Attach Ladder: Securely attach the inclined ladder to the designated points on the bunk bed frame. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
- Install Guardrails: Attach the safety guardrails to the upper bunk. Verify they are firmly in place to prevent falls.
- Optional: Separate Beds: If you wish to use the beds separately, do not connect the bunks. Instead, attach the appropriate leg supports to each bed frame as per the separate bed configuration instructions.
- Final Check: Once assembled, gently shake the bed to ensure all connections are tight and the structure is stable. Retighten any loose screws.
