Image: A split image demonstrating the Self-Leveling Mode (left, for horizontal/vertical alignment) and Manual Mode (right, for angled projections like stairs).

1. Self-Leveling Mode

  1. Activation: Slide the side button (switch button) to the unlocked position. The pendulum will unlock, and the laser level will automatically self-level within a 3.5° range.
  2. Indication: If the surface is tilted more than 3.5°, the laser beam will continuously flash, indicating that it is outside the self-leveling range. Adjust the device's position until the beam stops flashing and becomes steady.
  3. Application: Ideal for tasks requiring precise horizontal and vertical alignment, such as hanging pictures, installing shelves, or tiling.

2. Manual Mode (Locked Mode)

  1. Activation: Slide the side button (switch button) to the locked position. This locks the pendulum, allowing the laser to project lines at any angle.
  2. Entering Laser Lock Mode: In the locked mode, long press the top button (laser lock button) for three seconds to activate the laser.
  3. Application: Suitable for tasks that require projecting non-level lines, such as installing handrails on stairs or decorative patterns.

Important Note: The key at the top is the laser lock button, not the main power switch. The main power switch is the slider button on the side of the product.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the laser level in its carry bag in a dry, cool place when not in use. Always engage the pendulum lock before storage or transport to protect the internal components.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the laser beam becomes dim or the device fails to power on. Always remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Calibration: While the device is factory calibrated, if you suspect a calibration issue, contact customer support. Do not attempt to recalibrate the device yourself.
