1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, always follow these safety precautions:

• Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before installation, maintenance, or bulb replacement.
• Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician or a person with adequate knowledge of electrical wiring.
• Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture.
• Use only E27 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 60W. Exceeding the maximum wattage can cause overheating and fire.
• Do not connect this fixture to an ungrounded electrical system.
• Avoid touching the bulb directly after use, as it may be hot.
• Keep flammable materials away from the lamp when in operation.

5. Setup and Installation

This lamp requires assembly and professional installation. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare for Installation: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker. Gather all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, drill, ladder).
2. Mount the Ceiling Rose: Secure the ceiling rose to the ceiling junction box using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure it is firmly attached and can support the lamp's weight.
3. Wire the Lamp: Connect the lamp's electrical wires to your household wiring according to local electrical codes. Typically, this involves connecting live to live, neutral to neutral, and ground to ground. Use appropriate wire connectors.
4. Assemble Lampshades and Bulb Holders: Attach the metal lampshades to the E27 bulb holders.
5. Adjust Cord Length: The PVC cable flex is adjustable up to 195cm (2m). Determine your desired hanging height for each lamp. Thread the cable through the upper pulleys and lower pulley wheels as shown in Figure 3.1. Adjust the cable length by pulling it through the ceiling rose and securing it. You can experiment with different configurations to achieve your desired aesthetic.
6. Install Bulbs: Screw E27 bulbs (max 60W) into the bulb holders.
7. Final Check: Ensure all connections are secure and the lamp is properly mounted. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

Once installed, operating the LEDSone ENC43 pendant lamp is straightforward:

• Turning On/Off: Use your standard wall switch to turn the lamp on or off.
• Adjusting Brightness (if applicable): If you have installed dimmable E27 bulbs and connected the lamp to a compatible dimmer switch, you can adjust the light brightness using the dimmer control.
• Adjusting Hanging Height: The cord length can be re-adjusted after installation by carefully manipulating the cable through the pulleys and securing it at the desired height. Ensure power is off before making significant adjustments.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lamp.

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the lampshades and other surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
• Bulb Replacement: Always disconnect power before replacing bulbs. Allow old bulbs to cool completely before removal. Replace with E27 bulbs, ensuring they do not exceed the maximum 60W rating.
• Inspections: Periodically check for any loose connections or signs of wear on the cables. If any damage is observed, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
